Overall, I rate this as a good tool.

Using just the 10-question version, it got my top pick right with Huckabee at 97.66%. My number 2 pick is McCain, but it rated him as #4 at 95.80%, which isn't too bad.

All the Republican candidates rated above the Dems, except for Ron Paul (who is a really a Libertarian and isolationist, despite the ticket he's running on) with the top Dem being Obama at 73.38%.

Paul and Kucinich came in last at 9 and 10 respectively. (It's good to have guys like them running in the primaries, just to mix things up, but they have no support from me as actual Presidential material.)

Hmm.. My results came back with Huckabee as my #1 candidate @ 94.78%.

I was thinking it would come back more oriented toward McCain, but he came in 3rd below Romney!

Throwing the democrat out there

1. Barack Obama
92.95% match on issues

I consider myself an independent and dont feel strongly for any candidate, but Barack would be my frontrunner as of now.

That being said there is still a long time to go and any candidate can still shoot him/herself in the foot at any moment. So we will see

(Please forgive the lack of title as I am not sure what to call you)CloakAndDagger,
While Ron Paul is a libertarian (small l) he is not at all an isolationist. He is a noninterventionist which is not the same at all. Isolationism=Protectionism as well, which would not be considerable to some one who truely believes in free markets. He is also the only individual running who is not a statist and he has the least leanings towords collectivism out of the whole bunch. Congressman Paul is also the only Constitutionalist running and the only one willing the get the Government out of the way of the American people so we can restore our Republic to it's full glory.
