Rangers, QP's, Soldiers, Vets, Deps;

Another update, Its been over a year since I was supposed to ship out(July 11th) , time flies. Anyways, I still feel that the Army is where I belong, And have not stopped in the pursuit of my dream. I have pretty much no back pain anymore. I run, and go to the gym on a regular basis with no problems. I got evaluated by my doc, and got the green light. He wrote a letter for me saying I am good to go, to send up to MEPS. I gave all my previous doctors notes, and the new one to my recruiter and they were sent up about a week or two ago. Just the other day, I re-did my medical sheet(the one with all the yes/no questions) and had that sent up. I'm still doing everything I can to get in. I will not give up. So how everything stands right now, I'm playing the waiting game. Working out when I don't have school or work, and keeping a positive attitude about it all. Thats all for now.

Thanks again for everything
-Mike

Never really talked, but good luck with that bro. We're in the same boat....sort of.
I truly hope it works out for you.
Sometimes you feel tired, feel weak
When you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up
But you gotta search within you, find that inner strength

No kidding. I am also quite impressed with your positive "can do" attitude. That's essentially what you simply can't teach people....it's the opposite of quitting and you don't seem to have any of that in your system!

Keep us posted, TOES.

Heres another update for the Rangers, QPs, Soldiers, and everyone else. Got a letter back from MEPS about a month or two ago, not saying yes or no. They needed more information. Specifically what happened to the kyphosis I was diagnosed with. After another trip to my Doc, I got him to write something up again. I put him in contact with my Recruiter, so if he needs anything specific he can get it straight from my Doc. I'm excited as hell to get this shit taken care of. I'm so excited I cant even explain it. I'm doing everything I can to get the final go. While I'm waiting I have been going to the gym and continuing to make my body as strong as my mind. I'm at 189 lbs, my goal is to get to a solid 180. As of right now, I'm on a road trip. Started out in CT and made it all the way down to New Mexico so far. Tomorrow ill be in Phoenix, Arizona. The last stop will be California. One of the people Im with is in the Air Force and I got to stop at Holloman Air Force base today. It was pretty cool. I'm having a blast out here. Ill be calling my Recruiter tomorrow to see whats up with everything. As soon as I get some more info ill post it up. But thats all for now. Time for some push ups before bed.

Thanks

Good news and glad to see you putting in all that hard work to make it happen. The service could use more people like you and as I said before, with that "can do and won't quit" attitude of yours, you will go far anywhere you end up.

Back from MEPS update for the Rangers, QPs, Soldiers, and everyone else.
I got a No go again. Looks like this is going to take a little more time than I expected. One of the Docs even said what I have isn't that bad. They are going to look over my A.S.V.A.B. and Physical I took this past Thursday and Friday, I passed both with flying colors btw, and go from there. My recruiter is supposed to get back to me with more info this Monday. More than likely I will have to go back to MEPS again, I Have been there at least 4 or 5 times now lol. Until then, more PT!

Thanks
-Mike
