Isn't that the reason we all come here, to have fun? A lively discussion and debate is good for the soul! :D :D :D

I 1st heard Abbey Road when I got to Vietnam and thought it was the best album the Beatles ever did. Considering I didn't care for the Beatles until their Sgt. Pepper's Album.

Did any of you all ever hear?

David Peel and the Lower East Side Best song, "Up against the Wall Motherfucker!"

FUGS - "River of Shit."

ELO - Somebody done throw me down a line."

Grim Reaper - "Reaper Of Love"

Eric Burdon and the Animals - "When I was Young"

Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders - "Groovy Kind Of Love"

Jewels - "The Birds & The Bees"

The Tokens - "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"

Diana Ross & the Supremes - All songs

Beach Boys - "Sloop John Bee"

The Temptations - All Songs

The Everly Brothers - "Dream Dream Dream"

James Brown - "I'm Black & I'm Proud" (a favorite song in my hood)

Blood Sweat & Tears, Robert Plant, Eric Clapton, Black Oak Arkansas, Jay Geils Band - "First I look at the purse", Jesus Christ Superstar Yvone Elliman - "I love only him", and the thousand of other musicans from the late 50's, 60's and 70's.

Uh, Stead... You had to be in my house growing up. My mom kept that some of that going on all the time, some of the others are in my CD selections even now. (Ask Dave, he is my customized CD creator.... )
