Swiming lessons

Postby lilfate571 » February 4th, 2010, 12:21 am

I am thinking about taking swiming clsses prior to joining the army and going to RIP. Will this help me in the long run? and should I do drown proofing with my teacher?

If you want to be a Ranger, you better know how to swim. Do some research on the swim test required to get into RASP. If you aren't real comfortable in the water, you will fail, which back when I was in, meant you failed RIP, and were sent packing.
