I realize that I am new to this site, but I believe that this thread is incredibly motivating to anyone with the desire to enter the elite brotherhood that is the Army Rangers. Just bumping this up in the hopes that other hopefuls will see it and read it...

Great post Ranger CWDirect but please also share some of the "highs" of being a Ranger in a Ranger unit! Even a Ranger "E-nothing" away from the Rangers is admired by those that have never made the cut.

The constant striving to keep up while in the Rangers turns into the ability to exert a "presence" when you are not in the Rangers is something that never leaves you. Thanks for your words, they explain how the "presence" is developed. I could never explain it.

Thanks for puting to pen the thoughts that have been in so many of our minds. I am not a Ranger (yet), but I could recall many things myself when I read through your post. I have been looking at making some but changes in the next 6 months to 1 year, and reading this just validated the reason why we do what we do.

Thanks again for doing what your gifted at; puting thoughts into logical order and reminding others of things they've endured. Keep up the good work!
