I did it in three hours and change, though I was paying more attention to the four hour mark than the time so im not sure my exact time. each push up brought my arms to a 90 degree angle, so not quite as good as some of you, but im satisfied.

That feels fucking good, though I can barely lift the arms now.
I hate it when people jerk around with the system and get off. Im guilty, I should pay, no excuses

I was only able to do 465, not even close. I need to pt more.
I will accomplish this, I’ll give it a shot again in a couple weeks.

Ranger Disinfertention,
I will attempt this challenge tomorrow.
1000 pushups in 4 hours = 1 pu/14secs
That seems relatively easy. Is it the leaning rest position that tires you out the most? Would it be better to keep a steady pace, or should I push hard then rest long? Will post my results tomorrow night.

You guys are attacking this the wrong way.

Try 50 EVERY COMMERCIAL BREAK and you will be surprised how quickly you get there.

Unless of course you really, really need to do some fucking PT...

Did 100 in 15 mins, then Mrs. RogueFA called me down for Easter Dinner. fuck. Came back up and did the last 900 in 3.5 hrs.

Sore today, elbow is kinda swolen but fuck it - it's only temporary.

1000 done in 2 hrs. 54 min. I had a timer on my watch. I just set it for 40 seconds and made sure I did 5 pushups every 40 seconds. Pace slowed down toward the end, but still got it done.

This is an older thread, but who gives a shit.....

OK, here's how I do my shit. Every Mon. Wed. and Fri. I get onto Yahoo Music and type in Rob Zombie and then go to the video selection (there's like 13 music videos). With each video I do a set of 10 with 40 Lbs. dumbell curls and a set of push-ups. I do this to 10 songs....Soooo, that's 100 curls per arm altogether. My push-up count went from 50/video back in Jan. to 100/video now. That means I'm doing about 1000 push-ups in about an hour....

....Then I go run for 4-6 miles.

Yeah...it's a smoker, and sometimes I take a little break in the middle of the set....but I try to finish within the video time frame. Plus that type of music gets me pumped up. And I take about a 2-3 minute break in between videos.
