Brar, welcome to ArmyRanger.com. Glad you found us. If you are serious about turning yourself into a Ranger, this is a great resource. Please check all of the stickies before you post here again or in ANY of the other forums (Ranger CM already got you on this one). I understand that people post from all kinds of devices but we take punctuation and grammar seriously here. Not asking you to be perfect but please do your best to pay attention to it.

I have promoted you and given you access to a new set of forums. Please check those out and reply to my PM (I'll send it after this).

What have you been doing since high school? Did you play any sports? Why are you joining the Army now? Why are you trying to join the 75th Ranger Regiment?

Thank you ranger Disinfertention for the reply. I will take care of my grammar, and will also read all the stickies.

I went to college for two years but dropped out to work in my family business. I played cricket and football in high school. My family has a tradition in the military, and I want to continue that. I want to serve my country where I can do the most good, and live with honor and self-respect.

Welcome here Brar, there is a lot of good information for you to learn. Take advantage of it.

You played cricket ? I'm curious, did you go to school in the UK or are there schools in the US that play it ?

Ranger IntelToad,
No, I went to school in the US, but I played cricket with my university club.

Ranger Disinfertention,
Yes I regularly check armyranger.com and I have also done research on some of the mentee task list. The reason I haven’t posted anything on it is because as of now I don’t have a ship date. I want 11x opt40, which currently is not available.

We talked about this and I promoted you by mis-reading your intro. I have corrected your rank. Thanks for checking in.

Welcome Brar,

Don't be afraid to wait for what you've want. After spending over 14 months waiting to ship myself, I always said I would rather wait 6 months, a year, or longer to get what I want then spend much longer than that doing something I didn't enjoy for significantly longer than that. And continues to prove true. Just use that extra time to study more and get in better shape.
