I was told by my recruiter to make an introduction here, so here I go:

My name is Tom, I'm currently a Senior in HS here in Dallas TX. I have waited to Enlist fore the past year and I finally did it today. I'm 18, like rifles and camping, am an avid deer hunter, (That's how I mwt Ssg P.) and am in pretty good shape. Play football and baseball, and have been working out and running with my recruiter and the other DEPS. I hope to not anyone down and will take any input that any DEPs and Rangers have to give. Thank you all for serving in the ways you have and I hope I can carry that tradition on for all of you.

Welcome to the site. If your recruiter is who I think it is, listen to his advice...he's been there. You are fortunate to have him for your recruiter.

Just a friendly little tidbit of advice. If you ever say "Yaaaaaayyyyyy," in Ranger Regt they will probably 100mph tape you to a pole in front of the barracks and spraypaint you pink.

Besides, "Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy!" is a California word. I thought you were from Texas. Imposter.

You ever notice that the REAL studs live in Texas? Must be those cow turd fumes Luna said I was sniffing. THOMAS, you are welcome here as your endorsement was strong and your manners correct. And all those wunna be Texans making fun of us who live in the only State worthy of being called a state....pay no attention....they want to be here but were not allowed.

I'm confused. Every Texan I always met was sure to remind me that Texas was a republic. Now all of a sudden it's a state? What gives?
