Help concerning disclosure

Postby ertdoc222 » August 1st, 2004, 5:32 am

Docs,
A LEO friend of mine is seeking to enlist 18x but as I have earlier posted in this forum, he has a Gout condition which is under control w/ medication. Gout is a disqualifier for enlistment under AR Med Regs. If he did not disclose his Gout, and had another occurence of it down the road, would he discharged out of service? I guess what I am asking is if a service member came down with gout, are they discharged? Any help would be beneficial, as I have checked with Regs, and SFC Hit_It on the enlistment issue already, disclosing the condition. Thanks.....

Hard Pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent. I am attacking.
