Ranger Medic handbook

Good morning Rangers! First off I just want to say that I recently purchased a copy of the Ranger Medic handbook and it is absolutely amazing! I'm a newly graduated medic (not SOCM unfortunately) who is preparing to deploy soon and it has been such a great resource for furthering my knowledge and helping me learn new things that we didn't learn in 68W. I apologize in advance if this question sounds stupid but for my own knowledge I was just wondering if the interventions listed in the Management section of each illness were listed in "order of preference?" Is the book suggesting starting with the first intervention listed and moving on to the next if the first doesn't work? Obviously certain interventions are situation dependent but I just wanted to speak with the professionals when it came to the information. Thank you for your time. Take care!
