Cut myself shaving this morning. It looked like I was going for the jugular. Reason? Handle on the shaver broke. Checked the box, they are now Made in China. What the hell do they know about shaving?

I am changing my brand- I don't need the ChiComs as part of my morning routine.

As an aside, it reminded me of a guy in basic who on the first morning cut himself so bad the TI thought he was committing suicide. I laughed out loud- which was immediately followed by 25 push ups and some extra PT.
If you want to be successful at anything, you'll need to develop a never quit attitude. Don't let life happen to you. Grab it by the throat and make life dance to your tune.

With the new fiscal year, we begin our national visitor use monitoring which takes place every five years. The purpose for the surveys, according to the manual, is "to determine out how many people will sue the Forest on a particular day".

I suppose that "sue" is a typo and it is supposed to "use", but both are just about equally accurate.

And btw, if anyone want to pitch a shit fit about the government wasting money, here's a fine example. The purpose is valid, but the method and product is FUBAR^2.

Random thought of the moment.

Postby rangertough » October 4th, 2010, 9:11 pm

My 1SG at my assigned unit (not the one I'm cross leveled to) is trying to 15-6 me for signing out Simunitions equipment that I have sole responsibility for according to my hand receipt, training certs and unit SOP.

I guess he shouldn't have knocked up a SSG in the unit then swept her DUI/assaulting a police officer/felony flee charges under the carpet when I was the one who received the report from Puyallup PD.

BRING IT YOU USELESS FUCK.

Rant over.

Today I explained to a staff officer that patton moved his Third Army from Fort Irwin, to the East Coast of the US, put them on ships, moved them across the Atlantic, through England, onto the beaches of France and fought them all the way into Germany without one single, goddamn PowerPoint slide.
