Prednisone is some really nasty shit, sometimes worse than what you are taking it for. The reason for prescibing it like the Doctor did is that it's VERY addictive and if you don't taper off the dosage, it feels like every bone in your body is breaking! Taken for long periods of time, it will double or triple your weight, make your face swell so bad the Doctors call it "Moon Face", make fatty deposits build up between your shoulder blades just below your neck.....called "Buffalos Hump". It will also fuck up your liver and kidneys if the dosage is high enough for long enough. NASTY SHIT, but it does work good if taken for short periods like you are.

I already had to take off 3 days from working for the nice people of Detroit/Dearborn...thinking about taking today and tomorrow off too and going back to work on Tuesday. This sucks....I guess it knocks out the immune system as well. Nothing like catching a nasty from some dipshit.

Yeah, the doc said we are gonna nip this in the bud....I could deal with the swollen poison ivy lip....but the swollen hands and face...maybe it will swell my wiener up too.

The doc said "nip this in the bud"....I suddenly got woozy, then I woke up bleeding from the ass and my mouth. I thought that was the normal reaction to taking prednisone....Wait a minute....I hadn't taken prednisone yet...Looks like I got raped again.
