Rangers,
This was a long journey for me. Started holdovers in November, went to class in January and got hurt at Cole Range. Did physical therapy for 2 more months and went to class again where I graduated and was assigned as a 240B gunner for 3/75. 6 month journey for holdovers and RASP.
About me personally; I joined the Army because I didn't feel like an productive member of the male society working at a child day care. So what better than joining the Army as an 11B and earning the coveted scroll and tan beret.
I joined the Army without an option 40 and it sickens me to see that majority of opt40 guys quit before week 2. This course wasn't hard. It is doable. My class started with 169 and graduated 51.

Welcome and congratulations Ranger. You are right it is doable, otherwise there would not be any Rangers. Not everyone has the attitude or the fortitude to go beyond what is the norm and to not fail, it is what sets you apart from so many others.
