Hi

Post by lrsrangerw8 »

Well in a nutshell here it is. Joined the Corps in 88 and went to 3rd Bn-1st Marines. Did the first Desert Storm field trip with the same unit. Got out and went into the hell they call civilian life. Did that bit for 2 years until i decided that it sucked and i missed being in the infantry. Joined back up, in the Army, and went to Ft Campell. Ended up being with the Rakkasans for quite a while, where i ended up going to ranger school, class 8-96 if my memory serves me right. PCSed to E Co. 51st Inf, the V Corps Lrs unit in Darmstadt Germany, where i served until 02. If any of you know SgtMaj Ray Devins, he was my 1st Sgt for a few years. Ended up getting sent to 4th RTBn where i am presently an instructor with D Co.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
