Post by SRO3/3_G/143d »

Hello Rangers,
I served in Co G 143d Inf (LRRP) I was the SRO for Patrol 3 of 3rd Plt (May 1982- Late 1984). Co G was a Corps level LRRP asset, originally assigned to 18th Airborne Corps when I first arrived and until SEP 1983 when we were realigned to III Corps. Right after I left, in 1985, they were reassigned to V Corps in Germany (Damn the bad timing) and got to do some really good training with the SAS. I am hoping to locate any other unit members from that time frame. I'm getting to the age now where it would be nice to talk with some old friends from nearly 30 years ago, so please send me a PM. I know my Patrol leader went on to be at least LTC (BN Commander) and another friend was up for CSM in 2000 but haven't heard anything else since. My son is currently in RASP at Ft. Benning so I have been thinking about my time in a Ranger/LRRP unit recently. Good memories. My thanks to all past and current Rangers for your hard word, dedication and sacrifice.

Commercial Helicopter pilot 2001- last night at least (flying offshore night MEDEVAC contract)
