Served US Navy Aug 61-Aug 64 aboard a ship which as in the Cuban Blockade. Dicharged from USN Aug 64 and joined USA Oct 64. 25th ID in Hawaii and went with the div to RVN. Three tours in RVN, 66-67 (25th ID LRRPs) , 68-69 (9th ID, 1st ID, 1st AVd Bde) and 70-71 (MACV Advisor). Retired Oct 1981 as 1SG.

Yes I was in Columbus at the Holiday Inn North, attended the business meeting where the subject" Tab for the LRRPs" etc was brought up. I am taking over as the National Coordinator for the State Coordinators for notifications of "Fallen Rangers', so I will expect assistance for members of this site. When a guy passes on, his friends have a right to know and his family need to know that we care and I intend to do just that.

I was at that meeting in a left side middle aisle seat up near front.

On return from the break I was wearing my dungaree jacket. I hate institutional A/C.

Your pic is right next to K.Ingrahams who asked if your were in Columbus.

Didn't recognize the name, but still can here his voice" SEND ME SOME STUFF!!". I was two rows behind Ingrahams and to his left. Same row as Joe Little, new RRA Pres..
