13-87? Welcome, we attended the same class. Do you remember guys singing "Stand By Me" in front of formation at Benning, Directed by the RI's? yeah, one of those was me.

I do not, sorry. I don't even remember what company I was in, but I know I had Burgos as an RI in Mtns, and Yazzi in Dugway.

I got Yazzi in Desert and Mountains. Then worked with him when I was an RI up there. He set the example as the standard Native American profile....He got so drunk on his way to the First Sergeant Course at Bliss, he was considered AWOL for 4 days. :lol: :lol:

And we were just one company back then, broken into platoons. Later they changed to the 3 Company technique they use now.

Yazzi. There's a name I haven't heard in forever. Him and I were doing the long walk up Buzzards once when an ice storm moved in. Never been colder anywhere in my entire life, including AK. (Marriage doesn't count :) )

The Chief could definitely get his drink on. Burgos, on the other hand, was an idiot.
