Hopefully the bottom part of your quote wasn't directed at Jim (it's often difficult to read intent on the internet). Jim is a seasoned Ranger and a Moderator, who was simply asking you to follow site protocol. Thanks for complying.Exbootneck wrote:In response to Jim........
If I may I will add the odd comment. My dislikes are pissing contests.
Welcome to the site. It's a pleasure to have one of the Queen's finest aboard. Make yourself at home.

Many of us, myself included, would completely agree with you. Besides, everybody knows that Chuck Norris is the greatest of all.Exbootneck wrote:But getting back to the subject in hand with pissing contests I did notice a couple of naff threads about who is the best. These are the things that prompted me to make that comment.

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com, young man and thank you for your service to freedom around the world.
You probably did notice there were no pissing contests about whether or not I am the GREATEST. I think that has been settled.

Re: Intro from a FOG
Welcome FOG Warrior.
Just finished reading Sniper One. As an account of the events in Al Amarah during 2004, Sniper One is a gripping read. Dan Mills describes the combat and the quiet moments with excellent pace. At no point did I find my interest wane, as the fighting becomes intense, and even the the non-combat situations are informative or amusing.
Sniper One by Sgt Dan Mills is an excellent read for anyone wondering what awaits a battle group once it arrives in an urban warzone.
