Ranger Mom Intro

Post by litlbird »

Welp, here goes....

I am an only parent. I have a damn good son who is RIP/2nd Batt. I was fortunate to have had him home for 2wks this past holiday.

The most comforting feedback I've had at this point of his budding SF career was to hear that he has found the company of others who are like him...driven, hyper, serious and all that shit. "a better class of people". That put me at ease...thank God he's finding he's not alone in the world.

Reading the posts here on the forums is a great means to understanding the Army Ranger training and the brotherhood...training, connection, manifestation of warrior leader, etc. Oh, I know to expect to not know everything as the mom of a Ranger, but I have always known what my son is capable of and his potentials. I look forward to his accomplishments to come. And I look forward to referring to this website.

Take Care,

Boy does she have you guys pegged.

Welcome aboard ma'am, hope you find some comfort here.

Your sigline, Simple Man, makes me think of my boy as well. Have you ever heard the version of that song by a band called "Shinedown"? I'm sure you'll enjoy it, very good cover.
