I'm about to post a lengthy defense of Fort Pillow. This is due to the subject coming up on "Random Thoughts". Every now and then some historical thing is discussed, and it may hijack another thread. I suggest there be a "History" forum to move these subjects to, so they don't hijack the intent of the original page. If it takes a moderator to do that page, I volunteer my services, but you have to tell me what the heck a moderator does and what power he has.
