Re: Paleo
I've read up on it and I'm sure it's a good diet. I just got tired of the attitudes of the guys I worked with trying to push it on everybody along with the crossfit. They acted like if you didn't agree with them and spend a lot of money to get the "approved" paleo food sent overseas, you w...

Re: Looking for a new carry gun
I carried the Gen 3 in Iraq and Afghanistan, but when I went to a shooting course recently, I witnessed the slide come off of more than a few weapons when attempting to fire. I didn't have it happen to me personally and I really didn't get a good look at what might have caused the malfunctions, but ...

Re: Looking for a new carry gun
Well said Ranger centermass. I've been shooting a Glock 19 4th generation for the last year. I also carry concealed in an Galco inside the pant leather holster. I'd recommend both the Glock and the Galco. The Glock fit my needs and style very well. Easy to maintain and shoot. It's a 9mm so the ammo...

Re: New Type of Commander May Avoid Katrina-Like Chaos
I also think that having a shit ton of people not evacuate when they were told to really complicated things. Not to mention the idiots rioting, looting and trying to shoot at the rescue helicopters. Did you notice how little rioting, looting and shootin at helicopters has been associated with the f...

Re: New Type of Commander May Avoid Katrina-Like Chaos
The only chaos created by the Katrina situation was having a totally fucked up mayor, not using his own emergency plan (what... we need bus drivers for our evacuation buses?) and then having a fucked up governor who waited too long to call in the Federal government. It seems like this new policy ma...

Re: Army Backs Off Talk of Using Marine Camouflage Pattern
What was the Marine Corps' combat uniform before the Army went to the ACUs. I'm pretty sure it looked just like BDUs.
