Re: Introduction - Kyle
Thank you for the welcomes, Ranger al_2ndWolfhounds, and Ranger Bill. I was very insistent on the Op. 40, but I couldn't even get an Op. 4, let alone 40. BUT, there is some interesting information that I was told. I leave Wednesday night for MEPS processing on Thursday (of this week), to sign my co...

Re: Introduction
Update... I found out today that 35M is not even available through August of next year. I picked 11X, option 40 and am going to MEPS on 29 October 2010 in Dallas. Two weeks until life as you know it drastically changes! You "picked" the E ticket ride, so buckle your seat belt and pull the...

Re: Janet Napolitano ... "the system worked" (OP/ED)
I'm not a Janet fan and I voted for McCain, not that I thought he had a chance after the pitbull with lipstick came on board, but at least I voted.
However, you should read her entire statement, it reads a bit different than "the system worked".

Threads like this help me to understand how US magazine is popular.
Who really gives two shits what Val Kilmer or any other actor says?

Re: C 1/75 Old scroll company sign
No it was a sheet metal sign, the plywood one was in the arms room, or maybe the commo room when I was there. Probably the same plywood one. This one hung in the Supply room, only it was in FRONT of the counter we were not supposed to go behind. So, I had some Hooah's go in and run inteference, loo...

Re: C 1/75 Old scroll company sign
I won the company sign with the old scrolls in a raffle, when I ets'd I donated the sign to the C co rec room. Are there any active duty Hardrocks on that could tell me if the sign is still around? if so my signature as well as Steve Weaver's is on the back. I would love a picture. Uhh.. Is this si...

Re: RIP grad
Apparently you've changed your cell number? I've left some pretty heated messages for whoever has that phone number now... PM me the new one, Ranger. And get that you were my "mentee" out of your signature line. The men who you pick to mentor you now or who pick you, are a far better examp...

Getting recycled from the last RIP class to the new RASP program in January. Im going to make it through and become a Ranger no matter what. Never Quit Dev89! I think the fact that they are allowing you to recycle speaks highly of you. Upon completion you will also be a "collectors item"....

Re: Sitrep
Rangers, inter06 and myself are all ready to graduate. inter06 passed his retest and we both completed the ruck with no problem. We both are a little sore but it feels great. Since he is a medic he will stay at the ROC for awhile but I am headed to Savannah. It feels good to go exactly where I want...

Re: Sitrep
Rangers, Just a quick update. I passed the 5 miler and the History test and met up with the other guys that are on the website and in my RIP class. It is cool that Inter06 is in the class with me. He is a good dude. All I have to go now is the 12 miler. I get my battalion assignment on Tuesday and ...

Re: Sitrep
Great Job Greg! Keep up the goodwork and never quit.
Also, I don't know if you have met him but inter06 is in the same class with you. Somehow after listening to nothing I said and enlisting straight leg medic, he managed to manuver his way through the system and end up in RIP.
