We will have a full crew there and it would be great to see any of you guys that want to see a really neat airshow. From experience, I remember that traf...

I know when I'm new to a site I usually hit the "respond" button at least twice in rapid succession. Multiple times is even better

We need an avionics guy pretty bad here in Iowa. You won't get to the Rangers from here but I can yell at you and make you low crawl so it will feel like it. What a deal for you!

Re: The S&W "Governor"

Mild Hijack here. RangerX, when S&W did the cowtowing to Clinton they were British owned. That is no longer the case and hasn't been for several years. The new president is named Golden. I've actually met him and he seems to be a straight shooter. Put your mind at ease and go buy a quality Smith!

Re: build an A1

Holy Moses. I had to read and re-read. I still am not sure I understand. You see, the reason I don't understand is I've never heard anyone worth a piss call their grandfather what you just called him.

There is no coming back from a comment like that. Go join mall security. Maybe they would take you

Re: Complete Stag Lower, Is this a good deal?

I'll clarify my dimension stance: if you are looking at dropping in factory internals, they will fit in all lowers of that same caliber. MOST if not all after-market trigger groups (timney, mccormick, etc.) will also drop in. The manufacturers must do this if they want to sell their products. Probab...

Re: Complete Stag Lower, Is this a good deal?

TC204, I know where you are coming from. All lowers (for that particular caliber) are created equal with regards to dimensions. The only differences are whats on the outside. Examples are: pictogram "safe", "fire", manufacturers markings, stuff like that. Basically, if you like t...

Re: Complete Stag Lower, Is this a good deal?

I'll be the dissenting voice by saying it's an "ok" deal. Stripped lowers can be had for 60-80 bucks. Check rguns.net for one source. Parts kits from DPMS will run 65 bones shipped. The ammo is not valuable. 1000 rounds of brass military are going for 300 bucks. The wrench is $15. Count a ...

Re: AR/M4 vs. AK

AK's are perfect for throwing in the closet, never cleaning and having a butt load of ammo for ready to go out to the redneck range :) I like the former USSR pistols too, tokarev's are cheap and fun, and I like P64's too. I concur! And here is a little Diddy for us like minded individuals. They are...

Re: AR/M4 vs. AK

Opinions. What an interesting mix of personal preference. So without further ado, here's mine! Up front, both are fine weapons for the purpose they were designed for: killing people. I own several AK varients as well as the fact that I have put together several cut-up kits. I also own a few differen...
