Re: Human Terrain System Documentary

What a colossal waste of taxpayer money. How does one use "non-violence" to win hearts and minds, when the population at large is uncivilized and understands nothing but violence??? Locals will respond to whomever promises them what they want, allegiances shift with the faintest breeze, m...

Re: Lyrics that mean something to you

I have been a traveler, I've seen the far countries. marched accross the meadows, sailed upon the seas faced the fearsome slaughter of the maddness of the line watched the death of innocence ....surprised when it was mine. I have seen the seagulls where ocean washes sand seen the cold steel flahing,...

Re: Lyrics that mean something to you

Growing up in SC, I heard this song on Confederate memorial day and around Hunting camps .....usually after MANY beers. I'm A Good Old Rebel Oh, I'm a good old Rebel Now that's just what I am For this fair land of freedom I do not care a damn. I'm glad I fit against it I only wish we'd won. And I do...

The Foggy Dew I was down the glen one Easter mornTo a city fair rode I. There armed lines of marching menIn squadrons passed me by. No pipe did hum, no battle drum did sound its loud tattoo. But the Angelus Bells o'er the Liffey swells rang out in the foggy dew. Right proudly high in Dublin townHung...
