Re: E5's 2nd Reclass to 11B with RIP.
They should have kept the acronym R.I.P for its psychological impact. I think the name alone caused one third of our potential Ripees to drop before the completion of BAC.

Re: Life in the regiment, usuall schedules for the week
1. Most likely, even after the completion of RIP, your PT will be substandard when compared to the men who have been training in Batt for awhile (not speaking about the broke-dick arms room and supply guys...). Plan on spending evenings and weekends improving it. 2. Depending on the tenor of your pl...

Kudos to him for keeping his wits.
Still, I would think that it could have been a little unnerving coming down all that time with what you suspected might be a dead guy strapped to your back.

Re: Does anyone here remember this fast roping incident?
I was an O/C (JRTC) on the Chinook that night that Ranger died fast roping and like 25 others were injured! I wish I could remember the name of the plt/SGt that was on the bird I was on, becqause of him several more Rangers were not injured or killed! during the rope he could tell something was not...

Re: Does anyone here remember this fast roping incident?
Gotta name? If he was involved in filming BHD, then he was in B Co and I should know him. It sounds like he got injured after I left though. I'd like to know the name, too. I would have had to have been in Bco at the same time as this cat and if he says he was involved in the BHD filming, then I kn...

Re: Daily workout post
Completed the bike and upper body of last week, and the run and upper body of this week. Thanks for posting these workouts. With my current schedule on the road I can usually only hit the gym a couple of times weekly, but it's great motivation to have creative workouts available when you need them. ...

Thought I'd jump in once in awhile for fun to see how an old dad who moderately keeps up on his exercise still fares. PU: 48 SU: 62 Run (outside, 36 degrees, and dark): 7:03 Pulls: 12 I was impatient, so I didn't take 5min breaks. Don't know if that helps or hinders. I hate sitting around and lettin...

Re: Couple charged in death tried to 'rid infant of demons'
I hope they get the death penalty. Nothing is worse than killing a baby. I've often thought it ironic that our social services have on many an occasion whisked children away from a family where the mere suspicion of neglect or abuse is harbored, but will then turn a blind eye to all of the women wh...
