Re: U.S. Loses AAA Credit Rating from S&P
They blame Wall Street? At least those companies don't spend more than they make. Nah. They just fail and then require my tax dollars to bail them out. Just so you know, the attitude of most guys on the Street was "let um' smoke and burn to the ground". Guys like AIG and Citi shoul...

Re: U.S. Loses AAA Credit Rating from S&P
I really need a new line of work and location. These jerks in our government are killing this countries economy. They blame Wall Street? At least those companies don't spend more than they make. Who was it that posted the pictures of horse and cow pastures some time ago? I think it was somewhere in ...

Re: New Yorker Article on UBL Raid- Fabrication?
Wow. Even journalists have posers. I fell for it.... Don't think for a minute you are the only one. It was littered with leaked intel report outtakes and other military lingo this guy was fed to make it believable. But the ultimate goal was political, which is why his fabrication is only hal...

Re: Army Rangers vs. North Korean Spec Ops
I was trying to kill insomnia last night and also caught the "One Man Army" show. There were a few episodes with Rangers as participants including this weeks.
The host is a guy names Mykel Hawke, former Green Beret/SPECOPS.

Re: Comrades question Iraq vet’s memoir, memories
I have two relatives, one from each side of the family that received a PH in Vietnam. One in Quang-Tin 69' and the other in Quang-Nam in 68'.
Neither one of them made it back or lasted a year in country. So an attempt to gain that award, without merit, is a little personal for me.

By the way, I am guessing he never became a Ranger?
Here is his bio, mostly in 3rd ACR.

Re: Comrades question Iraq vet’s memoir, memories
You will have to forgive me, but I just don't get this. In some respects it is worse than a guy simply all-out pretending. You were there. You served. You did the job. Whatever happens, nobody can take that part away from you. Who cares what you did? So you weren't some super-hero, ass-on-fire, red-...

Comrades question Iraq vet’s memoir, memories
I didn't see this posted and apologies if it was. Pull quote; Comrades have questioned how a man with the physical injuries Montalvan claimed could return to duty so soon, come back for a second tour and then apply for the elite Ranger course at Fort Benning. In his book, Montalvan said he would “se...

Re: Annoyed with Verizon
This is just the beginning. Apparently Verizon also wants to do away with most aspects of their services that are "unlimited". So for example, if you have kids and a plan with "unlimited" text/pic messaging, they are eventually going to try moving you to other plans with limits f...
