If you go Airborne is everyone suppose to go to Ft. Benning for Airborne Training or can you go somewhere else and take it, like Ft. Lewis or Ft. Bragg?

When you are Ranger, do have to be HALO qualified?

I was told Rangers arn't part of the Special Forces BUT, they are under SOCOM.

Can Rangers customize their M4's etc. to the standards to complete the mission. Like for instince, tactical lights for tactical ops.

If anyone read that book, what is it like. It looks intresting.
