I shipped out July 28th 2008 and in that time I have graduated from Naval Dive School. I am currently serving my time on board a Norwegian Naval Vessel as an underwater demolition expert. So far I have enjoyed the ride and gotten rid of bad thoughts when things are tough.

I am shipping out in just a few hours to my naval basic training in Norway. I would like to thank the whole AR community for the wealth of knowledge and kindness.
I'll probably check in a couple of weeks.

The party was a great success, the whole neighborhood showed up (about 100) to show their support to my brother.
Rangers, Veterans and relatives, than you for your advice.

My brother is leaving for Afghanistan in a few short weeks. Since he is home on leave for a couple of days I want to throw him a party. I spoke with him earlier today and his spirits where down due to a Norwegian soldier being killed yesterday by an IED. He said that he didn't want this party, shoul...

USMC Veteran Teufelhunde, I live just outside the capitol. You can say that I am looking forward to do my service, as most of the male population actually do. If you don't have military service on your resumé most employers will look at you and wonder what is wrong with you. Here it is a privilige ...

This band started out as a skeet on the Norwegian version of Saturday Night Live back in the early to mid-90's. And is now resurfacing due to a fat guy hacking onto the main data base and distributing the video online.
I love the irony of this video.

1000 push-ups in 3 hours and 30 minutes and 43 sec.
I thought I would die on the last 100. Heaviest I have ever done in my short life.
I'll push another 20 (if I manage) before I go to bed.
