Re: An American RPG ?
Actually its true, but its being made for our allies, ie ANA and IA. Basically after we started equiping those armies with "Russian" style weapons, it came to notice that when the buy is made it has to be made to certain specs. Long story-short now there is a US made RPG made American copi...

Re: Let's Talk Bombs
SPOT ON! "The entire role of the US Army in the Pacific has been sidelined by Mac, who basically let popular history believe that the Pacific was a Marine war. It wasn't. Far more soldiers, far many more amphib landings were made by the Army, which fought over the worse terrain of the American ...

Re: Re:
Now why you would name a gun after a bunch of knuckle heads that would rather kill themselves than kill the enemy I have no fucking clue. Good question. For everybody's edification, Magpul is a US company, located here in Colorado. I did some surfing and discovered that giving weapons names offensi...

1000 Crunchies
Well I'm bored. Stuck in the house, with the icestorm that has blanketed the midwest. There is plenty of beer in the house, have power, so I'm GTG. While I would like to jump into a orgy of beer and internet porn......I need to do some PT. So decided to see how long it would take to do a 1000 crunch...

Re: CEO of Merrill Lynch Forced to resign
That very good point! If you get a chance read the "Millionaire Next Door" there are many, many millionaires in the USA. Most are people who worked for many years, saving or building up their business. The majority of these people don't show off their wealth, they go about their business d...

Re: CEO of Merrill Lynch Forced to resign
I used to work at Merrill, throw a couple of points that you won't read in the media. 1st. I think it was a terrible waste of money, which displays very poor business sense. But it was done before the bailout, so it was Merrill Lynch money being used. 2nd. If we allow the govt to dictate how a compa...

Re: Para-USA is getting into the AR game
Nice, but for $2000.....oh hell no. Think I'll keep my Colt, Bushmaster and my Fulton Armory guns and buy more freaking ammo.
Its great to buy top of the line stuff, but if you don't shoot/train with it....whats the point?

Re: ROP and RGT for an E6?
I was never in Regiment, did have a buddy who was a studly SL in 1/504 PIR, went to 1/75th RGR. Understand he was a studly SL and S-3 Air NCO there too. Last I heard he was going on a long walk and made that too. What I'm saying its better to fall on your face doing something, than be looking back a...
