Re: Ankle Injury
Well, its been a month and a half and there is still swelling around the ankle and up my shins. Also, whenever I touch my lower shin or anywhere on my ankle, all the nerves down my foot tingle into my tows. I've recently gotten back to my running schedule, but I want to know if there's any underlyi...

There are no NG or Reservist Ranger units. There is only the Regiment. If you want to be a Ranger, you must be active. You do not have to be Infantry. If you just want to go to Ranger school, you can be whatever component you like. However, your odds of getting a school slot are much better if you'r...

There seems to be a rash of guys like you on the board lately, talking about bailing out of college and/or ROTC and enlisting on Option 40. Summer surge? That's really the problem I'm having coming to a decision. I don't really know, i mean really know, anything about the army yet except all the cl...

I even got to do some really dumb shit... Some brain child came up with the idea of lasing targets from OH-6s at a hover for A-10s. So a small fixed wing flew into HAAF and picked up Lt. Martin, Cpl. Thompson and I. Flew us up to Maryland with our great big fooking laser target designators. Spanky,...

Re: My intro
I assume infantry is the best path to being a Ranger so I am leaning towards that. It really depends on what you want to do in the Rangers. While I think that infantry has the most fun, I'm kind of biased. Medics and forward observers also get to have their share of fun in Battalion. There's no que...
