Re: Vibram Five Fingers
The only people I've ever seen wearing those are crossfiters with attitudes and fat guys who think they're in shape. Plus, they're not 670-1 compliant. Other then that, from those who do wear them, they say they're great.

Re: Israel has '8 days' to hit Iran nuclear site: Bolton
The media during the time of our Civil War makes our current news outlets look tame and government controlled by comparison.

Not God, just some motivated Israeli bomber pilots will do.

Not only is H3 your friend, it'll also prevent you from paying for a new compass when the one you go to turn in does not have "H3" on it.

Re: Building leg strength?
Go with the pros. Military Athlete is a pay site but it's about the best thing next to a one on one personal trainer. There are about a million ways to increase strength. You could sit here for a month and get contradictory advice. There is no single right way and plenty of wrong ways to do it. Cro...

Re: Sapper School
It may not be the sexiest, hardest or most bad ass school in the Army but you can still learn something. For that alone, you should go to every school you can your hands on. Some are stupid, some are not but they all have something to teach you, even if what you're learning is an example of what not...

Re: Dismount & Convoy Training (A-stan) sought
I have an NG co-worker prepping for deployment to the 'Stan and he's seeking any contacts that can provide training for (quoted): "Convoy and dismounted for humanitarian aid with high ranking officers". If you know of any OCONUS contacts (companies or individuals) that are qualified to tr...

Re: Dental Implants
My four front teeth on top are implants and I had them put in about three months before joining the Army (this would've been late 1996). I had a more complicated case for implants then most. Normally, it's not that big a deal. I woud check with your dentist first and see what he says about the impla...

Re: Which Push Up Plan?
Ranger The Holmchicken and Ranger panthersix, Thanks for the input. Ranger The Holmchicken, for your plan if on the last few sets I burn out, would you have me go to knees to finish or just keep doing them with a few seconds of rest in between? IE: 14 PU...5 sec rest.. 3 PU...5 sec rest..1 PU? Wait...

Re: Which Push Up Plan?
Here's a quick one. 2 minutes push ups. Take your total and do six sets of half that number wiith a one minute rest between each set. Do the six sets every day, take the weekend off. On Monday, repeat. So to recap, it looks like this: Monday - 2 minute push ups, rest (less than five minutes) do six ...

Re: Which Push Up Plan?
Try this one. It's a whole body plan but it's progressive and it's just push ups, pull ups, dips and running. Takes a few months.
