Don't worry, you'll be fine. Just keep your feet and kness together, maintain a tight body position and rememebr to bend your knees a little before you land. DO NOT look at the ground during descent or it's broken leg city. Good luck Airborne!

Why DEPs should so show proper etiquette

I know this subject has been beaten to the point it's sawdust, but I have one thing to add, why you DEPs should show proper etiqutte. 1) Every member of this site with Ranger underneath their username has been in the same exact postion at some point in his life as you DEPs. He was once a young, wild...

Got my "handle" after a comapny live fire in early 1998 in CA. Happy might remember the deployment. All I can say is, 8 hour break, in Monterey (Super Bowl) after two back breaking weeks of work kind of blew. But anyway, my squad leader gave it to me. Some of you Aco 1/75 guys from the 89-...

Blood on the Risers

This is post is really quick. It's about a book I've read about a million times. The title, obviously, is "Blood on the Risers". The author is John Leppelman. The gist of this incredible book is this. A young man (Leppelam) joins the Army at 18 and becomes a Paratrooper eventually assigned...

I became a Ranger because I'd seen all the Regular Army guys doing post police, installation support and peacekeeping missions. I wanted action, not ash an' trash details. So I became a Ranger and the values, discipline and die before I fucking quit attitude has served me well throughout my life sin...

How about the airgun shots at Reception. They use needles now, as I understand it. Nothing like seeing some guy move while getting a shot and all the blood that followed

All right, all right, you pansy DEPs Check it out. Stand up, then bend over, slightly bending at your knees. Like you were stretching your hamstrings, legs at shoulder width apart. Now, grab your Achilles' tendons, only you put your arms thru the inside of your legs. You will notice that you have to...

They graffitied walls to memoralize some fat ass, non-hacker, been in the Army 72 hours turd? I hoped against hope that Ft. Benning was still a bastion of soldiering while the rest of the Army turned into the Big Green Welfare Machine. Thanks for crushing my last shread of hope.

Ok, what exactly are monkeyfuckers? I was disturbed by the links Google offered. Hindu squats are "fun", I do them to burn out my legs after deadlifts. The Iron Chair doesn't seem to bad, I'm used to deep horse stances thanks to karate. All righty, we've got a tough guy. Trust me, you'll ...
