"We do this rigorous user testing because we want soldiers to trust and have confidence in their equipment so they can focus on their primary mission," Col. Robert F. Mortlock, the project manager for Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment, said. "And we've built up that trust o...

Re: Or you could buy a Jeep
You could probably buy 5 or 10 jeeps for what this thing will cost the military. Thank you for posting those, Jim.
IMHO, the BDQs never received proper recognition for what they did. I doubt they ever will.

Re: Introduction- Matt
Hello Rangers, My name is Matthew. I am 23 years young and I was directed towards this site by my wife after I enlisted as a 92Y(Unit Supply Specialist) with option 40. She loves to do research, and luckily, it was to my benefit. I will be shipping to Fort Benning for BCT soon and felt like I shoul...

Re: Conundrum
Think I will print this in bold face capitals and hang it in my office. I work for a community action agency and have to listen to libtard rants all day. I was denounced in a planning meeting once as a "greedy corrupt dishonest banker". Told the jerk he was jealous and have used that title...

You have an admirable goal, but you need to answer one question - why do you want to become a Ranger?
Think carefully before you respond.

Marcus, I suggest you read ALL of the FAQs and Forum rules. We take great pride in successfully mentoring young men such as yourself, but this isn't your standard ''touchy-feely'' web site. We Are Rangers, not ''Hey all''. We are here to mentor you, not give you hugs and kisses. Welcome to the site...

Welcome to the site.
I admire your ambition, but you need to powerfully concentrate on your goal.
What is your specific "Midwest" location?

Re: All Things Military-This Will Boggle Your Mind
Just as that video demonstrates, when I first saw "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and that ending scene, I knew in my heart there was truth in that notion of some vast government warehouse(s) storing incredible amounts of priceless, invaluable, and historical items for decades. Everyone knows st...
