Just ran a 12k
In getting myself in shape for the Army and hopefully a RIP contract, i have been running and what not, and today i did a 12k (7.46 miles). I'm sure many of you have heard of it, the Sound to Narrows here in Tacoma, WA. The only reason i say that is it's pretty close to Ft. Lewis and the soldiers co...

You gotta be careful on bikes man. A lady pulled out in front of me and i t-boned her on my brand new CBR 600RR. It was near impossible to get into the Army with the injuries i sustained, but i managed to. (warning: some blood) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b210/odiedog52/60016cd1.jpg http://i20...

Re: DEPS SOUND OFF
Ranger Bugsy,
There are two kinds of people. Those that are going to be a Ranger, and those who are going to make excuses of why they AREN'T a Ranger. I don't want to be the latter of the two, for failing the PT Test. The most basic challenge of them all.
Knocking them out now.

Thank you for the Reply, Rangers. Like I said, I ordered the 2000 and recieved the 1992. He claimed the differences were the 2000 had less pages. I had asked the seller (from amazon.com) if the 2000 was mored legible and he said they were all like that, as the books were designed to be small to be o...

Ranger Handbook
I recently ordered a Ranger Handbook, for my own personal reference to look through and what not. Also, I've been reading books such as "No Excuse Leadership" and "The Coveted Black and Gold", and I can look up things they discuss in it, like OPORDs and so on to get a better unde...
