Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, there wasn't too much to report until now. I graduated RASP last Friday(class 01-19). It took me a while but I got there in the end. Trust God and as Ranger Jim said "Never, never quit!".

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Sorry for not posting in a while. I'm at pre-RASP now. As Lionsden said I didn't make this past class. The lowest score that classed up was a 273. I'm definitely still motivated though. We pt twice a day and I usually go to the Audie Murphy gym after we get released. I'm also doing a push-up/pull-up...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Looking back, the way I worded my last post could have been a lot better. I'm being held over at 68W AIT with all the other people who will be going to Airborne school so I'm still in Texas until April 26th unfortunately. But going to the main post gym and running cardiac hill are first on my to do ...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Rangers, I graduated AIT this past Friday and am now in airborne holdover at AIT. AIT wasn't particularly academically or physically demanding. Not unlike any other AIT we learned the basics. The hard part was standing in formation for hours wasting time and dealing with some of the people. Generall...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Roger Ranger centermass. I apologize I haven't posted an update sooner. Basic training was basic training. The way people made "relaxing Jackson" sound I thought it would be one or two steps up from summer camp. You still get smoked, have to take 2 minute showers, only make three or four p...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
I'm at the MEPS hotel. I'm not feeling too nervous yet. I would just like to say thank you again to all the Rangers who have given me guidance and prepared me for what's ahead. To any one looking to get a Ranger contract, read all of the stickies and follow the directions given to you by the Rangers...

SITREP-David(atl456)
Rangers, in a little over a week I will be heading to basic training. Thank you for all of the advice and guidance you have given me. I feel much more prepared for the journey ahead because of all the Rangers who have mentored me. I will update my SITREP at the MEPS hotel and as much as possible thr...

Re: Introduction-David
Ranger Jim I definitely feel the EMT course was helpful. I just got back from a vacation with my family that we planned after I enlisted. I didn't know when the NREMT practical exam was going to be scheduled until about a month ago. Unfortunately, they scheduled it to be this past Friday when I was ...
