Re: Introduction - Nathan
Rangers, I have been PDQ'd from both the Army and Navy. I have begun the waiver process for the Army. Unfortunately, it looks as if my dreams to become a Ranger have come to an end. But, if I'm able to join the Army as a whole, I hope to live the creed everyday, and to have the highest degree of int...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Rangers,
I got a 92 on my PiCAT, which is basically a mock ASVAB to see if you qualify for jobs. Not sure when I'll be going to MEPS. But, my shoulder is feeling really really good!

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Ranger Jim, I just registered at my community college for both the summer and fall semesters. The fall semester ends in December. That should be plenty of time to fully prepare myself. I will get 25-30 credits when it is all said and done. I plan on going to MEPS in July, but I'm not 100% sure yet. ...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Roger Ranger Disinfertention. I will do some additional research. In addition to, I have some good news. My brother's PL, in which he served with in Afghanistan, runs a recruiting station. He told my brother and I that he would go through hell and back to get me whatever job I would like, and whatev...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Ranger xray, Here's the tricky part, I don't really have the money for it, but my parents want me to try out the local community college . I honestly just want to go and serve, but I guess a little bit of schooling wouldn't hurt (except the wallet lol). I still have a lot of time to make a decision,...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Ranger Jim, I will most likely be getting a semester of college done, as well as working full time this summer. It will be tough, but something that I feel will prepare me better. My parents won't sign off on anything, so I'm kind of stuck until I hit 18 on the enlistment process. I'll update all of...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Ranger Jim and Ranger xray, Things are progressing smoothly. I will most likely be enlisted in late summer. An option 4 or 40 will be almost impossible to get with my injury. I hope to prove myself in the "Big Army" and then maybe gen a shot at RASP or SF after a few years. If I can't get ...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Roger, Ranger Jim. I am doing my best to try and heal the proper way. I am very frustrated at how long shoulder injuries take to heal properly. My recruiter said that I will most likely be able to join as long as I have all the medical documents to prove I have recieved treatment. Also, they want pr...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Roger, Ranger Disinfertention. I appreciate your words, and will get to re-reading all of the old posts on this thread. My rotator cuff tear was the biggest gut check I've ever had. Once I recovered to the point where I could do normal daily functions, I ran to the recruiters office to find out if i...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Rangers, It has been a long time since my last post. I figured that I would give an update. I tore my rotator cuff 6-7 months ago which was a pretty major setback for me. I could not do pushups until about a month ago, and still do not feel comfortable doing anything overhead or any pullups. I don't...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Rangers, I started the "12 weeks to RASP" training program on monday. It is going good so far. I feel like this will improve all of my scores. Hoping this program will give me the all around workout regimen that I need. I will update on my progress when I can. PT update- Pushups: 62 Sit-up...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Ranger Jim, I apologize for the delay. I wanted some good news for once. As of right now I am doing a training routine that involves lots of bodyweight workouts, circuit training, and run/swim training. I'm enjoying the challenge of it. My pullup routine that I did before went really well. I can now...

Re: Introduction - Nathan
Great words Ranger Cams. Wrote Ranger Goon's words in my journal. I've been reading books, on foums, and taking notes for the last couple of days. Now its time to start this challenge/journey tomorrow morning. I hope to become a better man out of this. I'll update all of you Rangers in 1-2 weeks. Lo...
