Re: Introduction- Zach

Zach, I was gonna get a Ranger contract when I was still 18. I wussed out in accepting it because I knew that you had to be physically fit. I became a Chemical Operations Specialist. If you get a Ranger contract for Rasp I can’t help you there. Yet if you’re gonna go through basic, it demands patien...

Re: Job opportunity

I'm a 74D20 been in a Chemical Co. and at a LRS Co. as the CBRN NCO. I dunno if that suffice enough but we went through some WMD countermeasures. But I can guarantee that I am trainable for the Subject Matter. Mostly on PPE and how the Army conduct protective measures against CBRN. Also I have train...

Re: Introduction-SSG(R) Yamada

Hello Rangers, Just stopping by and re introducing myself. I've been busy with school and life. Been trying to rehabilitate from my mental wounds but I keep relapsing. Wish I could go outside the wire one more time and conduct resupply missions for you shooters out there. Still regretting that I cho...

Re: The Scroll and its Lineage.

Thank You Ranger Goon175, and Ranger Richard Cranium You guys hit it on the spot. I didn't want to display anything unless it was substantiated as such. I just wanted some clarity before I walk around displaying the scroll and having to explain myself to a Ranger Veteran why I'm wearing their scroll...

Re: The Scroll and its Lineage.

Ranger Jim,

I deployed twice to Iraq. The first one I got hit by an IED. I never pursued getting a Combat Action Badge because of my PAC Clerk being technical about getting one, but my medical sure does show my history. I don't even know if I'd count being hit by an IED as being in combat.

Re: The Scroll and its Lineage.

Ranger Jim, I got this from one of your post: http://www.special-ops.org/lrs-long-range-surveillance-units/ from what I read I think I am entitled to display my unit affiliation. Since it comes from LRRP to LRS, but if anyone would ask me if I was a Ranger, I would tell them that I was with an affil...

Re: The Scroll and its Lineage.

Yes Ranger Jim, This is the current formation. My unit was organized as C Troop 38th CAV Regiment. I'm not too sure of it's formation before. All I know when I was still in C/38 it was a Corp Asset, we recite the Ranger's Creed every Monday morning and live up to to the Creed's standards and our uni...

The Scroll and its Lineage.

I want to make sure I don't step on anybody's toes, but I want to reassure myself by not being a dirt bag and displaying the scroll and the tab to look like a poser. I have a Operator Hat with my said LRS unit displayed in the scroll and I have a t-shirt with the said unit with the scroll as well wi...

Introduction-SSG(R) Yamada

Hello Rangers and fellow members, I am SSG(R) Yamada and I was in C 38th LRS-C out of Ft. Lewis under the 201st BFSB before they extended the 38th CAV. I was their unit assistant armorer and CBRN NCO 2009-2010. I got out of the Army on 2012 DEC for a mental disorder, and am now going to college. I a...
