Thank you very much sir, That is very helpful. How do I go about scheduling the visit to MEPS after I wait the recommended 30 days? It is my understanding that the only way in there is through a recruiter? If that is true it might be necessary for me to change recruiters since both the Staff Sgt. I ...

I might add that after a little practice I can now pop my ears pretty consistently using the holding my nose method. This is both encouraging and frustrating as it seems I was simply unprepared but might still have blown my chance.

Thanks for the advice. Between the search feature on this site and others and talking to a recruiter I think I have my prematurely asked questions answered. Thanks again for the advice I'll be sure to exhaust my other options before posting questions on this site.
