Good luck, and don't kill yourself over the contract, you sound like you're busting your ass. A contract will get you there, but it won't help you graduate. There are opportunities on Sand Hill for the worthy as well. Keep up the hard work!!

Re: Quitter
Roughly 10% of every group that comes from airborne to RASP quits that very day, before anything happens. That's the first question that's asked "who wants to quit?" Invariably, there are several, all with their own "valid" reasons. It's disgusting. Say "I quit" once, e...

Re: Introduction: Thomas
The bottom- most rung of mental toughness is not doubting your success before you are even close to beginning. If it wasn't hard, it wouldn't be worth shit. Very few things worthwhile are easy (except baby making). Read up on the Regiment, and what past and present Rangers have done. There are books...

Yes Ranger Jester you are probably right because when I do take those APFTs I'm not going to get a ton of rest like you said. Speaking of Recruiters, I have told my Recruiter to grade me on a harder standard, whether he is doing it or not I'm not sure. Thank you for the luck Nightcrawler, I don't k...

Re: Introduction- MJK175
Thanks Rangers. Since joining this unit I've had the good fortune to work for many experienced Rangers, many with 10 + deployments. I find myself talking to my fiancee about one Ranger or another, and every single time saying "I'd love to be the leader he is". The drive regularly displayed...

Re: RASP Before Airborne?
Interesting development for my son. He was sent to RASP hold before Airborne. While he was unable to give me many details of the "test"program, apparently only those that make it through RASP will go to Airborne. I'm assuming ( ) this is to reduce training costs?...What then happen...
