Re: Lead the Way Fund Run/Walk
Ranger McD - I don't run very much anymore, but I can still hump a ruck and Love NYC (my place of birth). If you want slow and steady, I will walk it with you, brother. RLTW

Best of luck, LT....
Drink LOTS of water, until you feel like you will float away.
Then drink some more. Even more than that. Just keep drimking.....
Don't stop drinking (water ) and oh, yeah, never quit.
Drive on - RLTW

Re: Introduction
Question though Ranger; when were you at hunter and how long were you stationed here? I was at 1st Battalion/HAAF from Oct 85 to the beginning of 87, then I stayed living in Savannah while I was at Ft. Stupid until 89. Great little city. Now go get your Ranger Handbook and read it while elevating y...

Re: Introduction
Welcome here, USMC. I spent some of the best time in my life there at Hunter, you could not be in a better place to achieve your mission. Try (through proper channels if possible?! :P ) to get hooked up with access to the Ranger Gym and find a few guys to mentor you through the process. In the mean ...

Welcome, Ranger....
Nice to have some Attack Company brothers around, maybe we can rally up our own forum once we all get in-processed.
Drop me a line if you are around New England the next few weeks.

Re: For your reading pleasure...
Point taken, and I agree it is currently a bunch of politically "correct" (though still wrong) bullshit. I'm saying end the bias, make one gender-free standard for all and let those who can hack it achieve what they can. There are very few men that can make it into a Ranger Battalion (or S...

Re: For your reading pleasure...
I'm gonna go out on a limb on this one, please feel free to disagree if you see the need, but here goes.. A while ago, CSM Purdy suggested that women should be allowed to serve but should be held to the same standards as men, and I have to agree. If they have the physical strength (a few do), the ta...

Torro1/75 was on site today - and yet we can not help Rangers unless they help themselves by completing & returning packet. Roger that, Ranger Steadfast..... Geno, you got that? Fill out your packet , or be an egg (hey, that rhymes with 'leg' ) for all eternity. RLTW You can lead a horse ...

Re: Greetings
Wow - It has been a long time there, Ranger Torro. Found your intro in last year's posts; you should fill out your packet or ask Ranger Steadfast to send you a new one. Are you living in Idaho to hide from Skelator? He still has an ammo can full of smoke with your name on it!!!! You can run, b...

Re: How Can We Best Honor Their Memory on Memorial Day
Went out to the memorial on Ft. Wainwright yesterday to render honors/pay my respects. It's a big park between 2 ponds with markers for Soldiers killed in action. It's pretty nice with trees and benches and all. I stayed for about half an hour. I was the only one there the whole time. Afterwards I ...

Re: How Can We Best Honor Their Memory on Memorial Day
I think our fallen heroes would appreciate that our country is happy and free and would gladly accept that as a wonderful tribute to their sacrifice. Thank you, Ranger Dolan....your point is right on, so here is a happy outcome for a sad Ranger story - As some of you may know, Ranger Michael Rudess...
