Re: SITREP Justin

Rangers/Other Soldiers that have assisted me on this website, First 25M target down! I have secured my 68W contract. Signed and swore into the DEP on 20111223. Unfortunately at the time Opt. 4 and 40 were unavailable and I will no longer sit idly by. While at MEPS I did get airborne qualified so if ...

Rangers, In late February 2011 my tattoo waiver passed and I attended MEPS (as mentioned in other posts) and passed all of my physicals. They were not able to secure me a contract that day due to my recruiter not looking ahead to see if they had slots and options open. I understand this happens freq...

68w option 40

MSG Hit_it, Sir, Thank you for the wisdom. That answers my questions. I saw Ranger Goon175s post from earlier today concerning the closing of a lot of MOSs and it makes the most sense for me to wait it out until the next fiscal year. I've gone too far already to have the rug pulled out from under me...

Ranger Jim, Thank you for your swift response. I posted a question of mine in the topic and am waiting to get answers. Thank you again for the direction. And I will never, never quit. This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I won't settle for less. I want the scroll, I want the ...

68w option 40

Ranger RngrDoc75, Excuse me if I'm hijacking this thread. I'd rather ask the question here so it will get answered for all future 68Ws to know. What is the likelihood of a 68W with an Option 4 getting approved for RASP at AIT after week 6? Is it extremely selective and competitive or is it first com...

Rangers, Here's an update. Went to MEPS today. Got a go at every station but they didn't have Option 40 in the computer. Not for 68W at least. Liaison even called the ROC to see what they had but they said slots are filled through September. The kid right before me picked up an 11X Option 40 though....

Ranger Ingraham, Will do. I've been PTing in the spare time I've had trying to get all of this squared away. The waiver has passed. I head to MEPS tomorrow for my physical. Ranger Baseplate, Blowtorch. That's a new one. I've had numerous bladed tools recommended. All for the simple price of framing ...

Ranger, My name is Justin. I am 24. I have posted on here before but my account (of a similar name) was deactivated after a change of email address and since then was never reactivated. I have thoroughly enjoyed the plethora of wisdom shared on this site by the Rangers and all other contributors. My...
