Hey all, I'm comnig up on ship date for OSUT soon. I have a little while longer to continue training. I'm not able to get the opt 40 so I'm just going to have to hard charge in BCT and pray I get a RASP slot. I've learned that hard work can pay off given the effort and the right COC, so I'm hopeful....

thanks for the input Cayo. I leave soon for OSUT as prior service and was not able to get option 40 in my contract, but I am doing whatever I can to get a slot for battalion. I've been stressing on how the slots work in BCT, so this helped greatly. thanks again.

Just wanted to add that I made a personal best today and it was no bull shit thakns to this forum. I felt motivated after reading some run and school posts. I did my 5 mile in 37:50.
