Re: Random thought of the moment.
Don't ever think for one second that someone cares about you and values the contribution you've made. Those people not only exist, but they're here to listen and lend a hand when you need it.

A Word of Thanks
I've been AWOL for some time. Life took over as it often does, things change, etc. Story for another day. But I am making it a point to come back today and say thanks. I can't find the post, but I read it here some time ago and it inspired me. A Ranger was articulating how he'd been out of shape for...

Re: 'Vietnam in HD' Shows War in Excruciating Detail
I have my family sit down and watch these presentations. It provides infinite value to show the extreme sacrifice some have made on our behalf. It is also first-person illustrative and offsets the counter factual propaganda of the liberal leaning education system. Appropriately, you will never see m...

I've retired from shooting animals, that is until the wild hogs make their way here. And now that I have, every White Tail, Wild Turkey and Coyote for 50 miles wanders through the property.

In honor of Veterans’ Day, the History Channel is premiering a new, six-hour series, “Vietnam in HD.” Following the success of its Emmy-winning series, “WWII in HD,” the History Channel’s new documentary focuses on one of the most controversial chapters in U.S. history: the conflict in Vietnam. Cull...

Re: Possible Ranger Poser
If you go through the wall, as a non-Ranger two things tipped me off; 1- There is a photo of a graduating Ranger Class. Even if you enlarge it, the class can't be deciphered (unless someone has better eyes). But there is allegedly a blown up photo on him in the formation. Problem is, everyone in the...

Re: Possible Ranger Poser
It is really scary that someone would purchase all that gear and insignia to masquerade as something he is probably not. It actually surprises me all that stuff is available to the public and no laws are broken by making such fantastic claims?

Possible Ranger Poser
Apologies if this is not the right place to post. I thought this was at least worthy of review by eyes that are much better trained then mine. There seems to be a string of inconsistencies mentioned in the comments. He claims 2nd Battalion status, etc. There are a bunch of pictures with Tab, etc. If...

Ranger Domeij died in Afghanistan on his 14th deployment
All I can muster is RIP and thank you. Also to his family, you and Kristoffer will always be in my prayers. The United States Army is today mourning one of its most courageous and decorated heroes. Sergeant 1st Class Kristoffer B. Domeij was one of three soldiers killed by a roadside bomb last Satur...

Report clears commanders By the time the CH-47 transport helicopter descended to 150 feet above an unprotected landing zone in Afghanistan around 2 a.m. on Aug. 6, the element of surprise had been lost. Hours earlier, two other Chinooks had deposited 47 Army Rangers at another nearby landing site, ...

Re: Hello again Rangers
if you want to be successful at anything, you'll need to develop a never quit attitude. don't let life happen to you. grab it by the throat and make life dance to your tune. OK. I at least want a t-shirt with that on it. In fact, it is about to become my new tagline unless you take offense to that ...
