Re: America Still in Love with Crap Beer

Look, I like PBR as much as the next guy ($8 for a twelve pack!) but I can't believe it beat Yuengling.

Re: Introduction. Gomes.

PVT Gomes, why in the hell would you say that you are "unfortunately" an 11C? I was an 11C for 15 years and I. Loved. It. You get to do everything an 11B does AND you get to shoot mortars. Where's the problem? Ask anyone out there, being an 11C in Regiment is one of the hardest things you ...

Re: America Still in Love with Crap Beer

Coors Original and Yuengling are my go-to lawnmower beers. I keep a case of one or the other stocked in the fridge at all times regardless of whether or not I decide to pick up a sixer of something more expensive on a Friday night. I still don't understand the preoccupation with IPAs. They taste lik...

Re: Tunisian Army

Just stumbled on this thread. Hadn't had a lot of time to hang out here because I'm currently in Bagram saving the world and stuff. Like fatboy I spent some time in Tunisia but a little later, around February 2002. Same deal though. 173rd used to do a semi-regular training exercise with the Tunisian...

Re: Kel-Tec P11???

Might want to check out the S&W M&P Shield. It's thin and lightweight. I paid $350 for mine, which is a .40.

Just my .02

Re: Looking for a new carry gun

My problem has been solved for a bit. I ended up with a S&W M&P Shield in .40. It's thin, light, and puts the rounds where I need them to be.

Pretty fun to shoot, too.

First jump in 12 years

I got here to Eglin in January. My last jump prior to arrival was with 173rd on March 26, 2003. So yeah, it had been awhile. I gotta say, I really dig the MC-6. Compared to the T10, this bitch handles like a Ferrari. Had a great exit and an awesome landing. Too bad I had to do pre-jump 4 times just ...

I was/am a weak swimmer and I could have sworn they were going to let me drown had I not clawed my way through.

Re: MH to former SGT Kyle White

In October 2001 I reported to Vicenza and became a part of the reactivation of the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry (ABN). I can say that we (the senior leaders) built that Battalion from the ground up I got to Vicenza in January '01 and was assigned to 1/508. When they first reactivated 2/503 they we...

You should have done what Hutson did and just walk down the hall naked, rubbing your junk. Don't hide it and there's no issue.
