Rangers, Thank you for the advice you have given. I know that the 75th is the very best the Army has to offer as my father served in 3/75 back in the day. Unfortunatly what's done is done and because "the regiment is at 160% for 11Bs right now" I am unable to change what I have already don...

Rangers, I'm sorry for leaving most of you hanging on what my 'personal reasons' were. I've been having a lot of problems back at home lately and I know that I lack the motivation and dedication required to make it through RIP at the present time. I just completed my first jump today and graduate ai...

Re-Introduction

Rangers, I was never informed on how to go about updating my status so I thought this to be the most appropriate manner. I am currently in my final week of Airborne School and will recieve my orders to my first duty station this thursday. I was originally an Option 40 but dropped that due to persona...

On Family Day Pass

Hey all, I am currently on my Family Day pass before my AIT portion of OSUT begins. To those of you about to leave for OSUT it's really not that hard, more mental than anything. As long as you get a good platoon the Drill Sergeants pretty much leave you alone aside from what they have to teach you. ...

SFC hit_it,

That's really cool, you don't really hear that much of people who were stationed over here. Now that everything is closing down it's awsome to be part of the few who graduate abroad. This is an amazing place to be stationed and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

SITREP 11X/Opt 40 Obtained

Hello all, I'm just reporting in to say that I went to the recruiting office today (which also acts as the MEPS station over here in Europe)and finished everything for my Enlistment (final paperwork, job selection and swearing in). I have been reserved an Option 40 with Assoc. Opt: 70 and 174. Which...

SFC hit_it, We had tried using a General Power of Attourney to allow my mom to sign for my father, however after my recruiter tried to make it possible he was told that it wouldn't work. Luckily this should work fairly easily, we've e-mailed the form to Kuwait where my father'll sign it and fax the ...

SITREP

Hello Rangers, I've been in the process of obtaining my Option 40 contract lately and have made some major headway into doing so. Monday I took the ASVAB and came out with a score of 80 (my line scores haven't come back yet) and I did my physical on Tuesday, which I passed with ease. The only thing ...

MOS Question

Hey all, I recently visited a recruiter to start my enlistment. He was very straight-forward with everything and everything that he said matched with just about everything that I've done research about. He said that I would be able to obtain an Option 40 contract (if I can prove myself worthy after ...

Hey all, I'm sorry, I forgot to state that I am a part-time student at the High School...I attend JROTC at the school but the rest of the day I'm Homeschooled. This is one of the main reasons for my joining, as homeschoolers are treated differently than regular high school grads I was hoping to reci...
