Re: D-Day and our nation today
Tactics like the WW2 style invasions are as obsolete as the march in lock step civil war tactics. So I think it's all a moot point  It all depends on the enemy. Re: What sticks with you?
During Desert Storm we were refueling and we were ambushed by a Republican guard tank unit. A big battle broke out. We destroyed several of their tanks very rapidly. Interesting video on Rangers during Operation Anaconda.
It is based on the RANGERS rescue mission of the SEALS during this operation. This is the first part of the program. I have not found the second.

Re: Comments to High School Students
A hoax perhaps, but right on the money. I have the displeasure of being in our interview chain quite often. Most of these save the whales, global warming fanatic, mommy pampered, there are no losers, America sucks, weekend alcoholic, I do what I want, everybody's equal, there are no consequences fo...

Rangers Lead the Way Fund
Has anyone ever donated to this organization? I recently did. Here is the link for others who are unaware and would like to contribute to a worthy cause.

I'm reading Not A Good Day to Die. The author sure likes Rangers and does not think highly of the SEALS.

Best read on Operation Anaconda?
I have recently become interested in this particular mission. I have researched the books that are available and there are several. Could someone please suggest at least one that they would consider worth the purchase? Thanks.
