Re: Airborne sitrep-marshal
We are going to be offered block leave here in about two weeks, but I think I would rather stay back and stay focused on pt and what I need to do in order to complete rasp. Doing what you "need" to do instead of opting for doing what you may want/enjoy to be doing. Good mindset. Drive-on ...

Re: Ranger School on a 68W contract with no incentives?
Your recruiter is retarded. Just so you realize young man, this is coming from a Ranger who is presently a Recruiter. If I were you, I would put in to go to RASP while in AIT. X2 - prove yourself at basic and AIT as being a high performer and earn a slot for RASP and prove that you are worthy to se...

Re: Introduction - Ralph
The whole deal with the Navy was my fuckup. They job-locked to this rate and they did not even give me anything else to choose from. I caved in to pressure from the liason and my Navy recruiter and signed for a rate that I did not want. My Army recruiter claims I will be either auto-discharge after ...

Re: Ranger School on a 68W contract with no incentives?
You cannot get into Ranger School until the leadership of the unit you will be ultimately assigned to decides you are worthy of such a slot. Ranger School is not an initial enlistment contract incentive. Besides that, you have a lot more important schooling to concentrate on and accomplish to become...

Welcome to the site. So let me get this straight. You signed a contract and made commitment to the Navy but then you decide you no longer want to do it? You do not know the ramifications of "not shipping out"? Don't you think it is rather important to know this before you essentially say &...

Michael....were the pushups self graded? If so, you need to ask your recruiter to administer you a PT test. You need to realize what the standards are.

Re: SITREP /MEPS RENO.....
I think I have a pretty decent chance at passing ranger school because of my previous rotc experience which gave me a little more experience in land nav, opord and patrolling than your average pfc. Oh really? Some ROTC training gives a person a decent chance of passing Ranger School?? You be funny ...

Welcome to the site. Your service is respected and grealty appreciated. Is the poser in question currently serving? Is he just running his mouth or actually wearing a Tab? Having the documentation you state you have, have you passed it on up through the chain of command for UCMJ action? Again, welco...
