Re: Introduction
You learned after only 1 1/2 months in college that college isn't for you? So what is your plan now to prepare yourself to fulfill an 11x Option 40 contract?

Re: Random thought of the moment.
I'm just hanging out eating and drinking, and it is snowing at home today. If you want to get out and see some gorgeous scenery (i.e. The Rockies), Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park is not too far away from you. RMNP boasts the highest elevation continuous highway in the US. There are som...

Re: soldier died in Afghanistan Daniel Ambroziński
Ms Zajczenko, Sorry for Poland's loss of CPT Daniel Ambroziński. If he did in fact graduate from the US Army Ranger School then he is a Brother of ours. That said, in the US you will find your request for information to Soldiers about another Soldier may be greeted with cynicism, contemp or downrigh...

What have you been doing for the last 10 months since you made this statement in your original post? Your PT scores don't reflect that you have done that much work.Nobody wrote:I guess getting out running will be my new years resolution.

Re: Female MOS
First of all, Officers aren't assigned a "MOS". They are assigned a "Branch". While it is understandable that you, a civilian, would think..."well they mean the same thing..i.e. your job", the use of these two terms aren't interchangeable in the US Army and shouldn't be...

Ok...your run times are decent but your "attention to detail" sucks. You wrote "1/2 Mile" twioe in this thread and even after a question was raised on whether you mistyped, you insisted you were correct. "Attention to Detail" is far more important then how fast you can ...

Welcome to the site. Did you mistype the time on a "1/2 mile run"? You mentioned a cross country coach which implies you are on a cross country team. The time you posted seems a bit odd. Again, welcome to the site.tim123 wrote:1/2 mile Run- 9:23

I have a difficult transition ahead by prematurely ending my studies against the wishes of my parents, and could use support from fine people like yourselves. Thank you again for reading this. Welcome to the site, You have written about virtue and honor. You threw in some comments about liberals, e...

Re: And the media wonders why we hate them
People without health insurance are 40 percent more likely to die than those with private insurance, according to a new study whose authors say the finding underscores the need to expand coverage to the 46 million who lack it. WTF kinda statistic is that?? Private Insurance has an immortality claus...

Well it really wasn't all that tough except for the fact that the kids at the local playground would get upset when I commandeered th...

Well I could vouch for you Mountain Hawk since I spent 8 1/2 weeks with you but then again, the powers to be haven't decided if I am a poser yet or not. :D I may just have to take a trip down to the mountains of Georgia and buy you a beer.

Hawk....now that you mention it, I do remember the bugle player. You still have a bottle from the case the class gave you over 25 years ago? I have no desire to see my scores. At best I know they were marginal :D . Heck I had to pass a knot tying class down in Florida in order the graduate since I f...

Made me play for my breakfast???? He remembers it this way because this is the same BS he use to tell the RIs way back then :D Oh well....I am surprised he remembers me but then again, since harmonicas aren't on the packing list, I doubt there were too many students playing them. RangerTee....thanks...
