I Am Not Lying Sent: June 7th, 2013, 9:40 am From: Mustardseed12 To: ZoneIV Ranger ZoneIV, I mean no disrespect in any way, but I do not like being accused of lying. I know that my two mile time I posted in March is way off from the times I posted, so I can understand why you pointed it out. I'm su...

Re: Introduction: Max P
Back in March you posted "2 mile run: 14:23" as part of your PT test results. I thought this seemed pretty slow for a Track guy. Then I read the above from you and the 1 mile vs the 2 mile times makes absolutely no sense. Just an observation.Mustardseed12 wrote:junior year track: Best 1 mile time was 4:55

Re: Sitrep - allthegundams
Simply amazing. This is the second report in a matter of days stating chin-ups were the cause of failing the RASP PT test. Jim....I vaguely recall that there was one messhall that we had to climb a rope to get to the chin-up bar.

Re: Sitrep - allthegundams
Your candor is appreciated and respected. For the benefit of those soldiers who will take that same PT test in the future.....did you find the standards for pushups in RASP tighter than what you saw in BAC or Basic? I just know in the the old days, a PT test with a Ranger grader was the toughest I e...

I had my 28th birthday on a duce-and-a-half on the way to Mountain Camp. Maybe it's a good sign for you. Keep the SITREPS coming. Never, never quit! I had my 23rd birthday paddling around the Yellow River and taking a long nature walk in the swamps of Florida (that was 30 years ago in just a couple...

As I stated earlier, and I want to reiterate now, none of my accomplishments are anything that I boast about or feel proud of. Oh really? Then why did you write a book of all your accomplishments for an introductory post? Is this your way of being "humble"? Find an Combat Engineer Officer...

Re: INTRO-Tooreal11
I have been reading a book on RASP which I recommend to any one thinking of becoming a Ranger, Surviving the Cut was a terrible representation of the realities of the SUCK. Seems many guys get recruited out of Basic, AIT or Airborne in the book. How can you recommend a book on a subject you know ab...
