Rangers, I'm headed to MEP's next Wednesday evening and will be doing the physical portion on Thursday as I have already taken the ASVAB (70, 110 GT, 110 FA). I'm excited to finally get this going, my heel as fully healed and I've been training in full for about 3weeks now. I've stopped rucking for ...

Re: RASP

Rangers, My recruiter informed me that starting in 2010 RIP will now be RASP, which is an 8week program. The first 4 weeks are what was previously RIP, the last 4 weeks is training to help the men with Infantry tactics, land navigation and all the things needed to perform in a Battalion. He said thi...

Re: Introduction - Michael

Rangers, I had an accident camping and sliced a good portion of my heel off on my right foot. Thankfully it has fully healed, much quicker than the doc expected and I have been training in full for about a week now. A recruiter at my recruiters station who wears the 3rd BN scroll on his left shoulde...

Re: Daily workout post

Ranger Nomad, Upon completing a run up one of the trails at Shenandoah National Park and continuing a hike down the other side I slipped and sliced my right foots heel off and a few chunks of gravel embedded in my left this past friday morning. Re: Protein?

Last note I would also avoid creatine for atleast a week prior to MEP's and/or while in service. Not only can creatine dehydrate you as Ranger Rangertom pointed out but It will also show up in your urine test and can be a red flag, it was for me when I went through the process of gaining a Top Secre...

Re: Carano finally loses

She took a thumping. Cyborg is a muscular beast and can take a punch. I have to wonder if Cyborg is juicing though....I'm just sayin..... Ranger panthersix, Cyborg may be a man, it's not roids . That was a good fight regardless, Cyborg should be the face of women's MMA, not some pretty girl wi...

Re: Introduction - Michael

Rangers, Finished my ASVAB today, my unverified score was 70 (the "predicted" score as the recruiter put it). I am not thrilled about my score but the recruiter said I will qualify for 13foxtrot option 40 contract (he said he could get me that contract as well) and I'm meeting him again mo...

Re: Protein?

I know I'm not a Ranger, but my advice about using creatine is to avoid it, if you're training to get ready to go away to Basic/Airborne/RIP.. Creatine is a performance enhancing substance, that, if you didn't know, is naturally made by your liver, and assists your muscles in getting nutrients and ...

Re: Introduction - Michael

Ranger Jim, I sent a private message to Ranger Bravo57 as I saw a post of his from a previous date speaking about FO's, but 13f seems like a very exciting and challenging job so I'm excited. Frankly the more PT I do everyday the more excited I get about leaving, can't wait for this contract at work ...
